Middlesex County
Middlesex County is located east of Richmond, Virginia. We have a population of approximately 10,000 citizens - approx. 8,500 of which are registered voters. We are a rural county and want to remain conservative. One of our goals is to increase our tax base by bringing more businesses to Middlesex that align with our values, traditions, and way of life in Middlesex.
Community Forum for Candidates running for Middlesex County Sheriff
The Deltaville Community Association will be hosting the second Sheriff candidate forum on Thursday, September 10th.
The moderated forum will take place at the DCA Community Center at 6:00pm. It will be livestreamed and recorded for playback on YouTube.
Moderators from the DCA will ask candidates questions that are submitted by the public. Members of the community are asked to submit questions that are pertinent to all candidates by August 20th. Questions can be submitted online via the DCA website, (http://www.deltavilleva.com/), or by email at [dca@deltavilleva.com]. All questions will be anonymized before being given to the forum committee. The committee will review the questions, and select the topics most asked about by the public for the candidates to answer on stage.

Special Election (Nov. 2026) for the Middlesex Co. Sheriff
Middlesex County Republican Committee is not endorsing any one candidate for Sheriff.
All candidates for Sheriff are running as Independents. We encourage all Middlesex Co. registered voters to do their research, meet the candidates, and decide for themselves who they think is the best candidate for Sheriff. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order:
