Middlesex County is located east of Richmond, Virginia. We have a population of approximately 10,000 citizens - 8,500 of which are registered voters. We are a rural county and want to remain conservative. One of our goals is to increase our tax base by bringing more businesses to Middlesex that align with our values, traditions, and way of life in Middlesex. Middlesex County is a long peninsula with the Rappahannock River to the north, the Piankatank River to the south, and the Chesapeake Bay to the east.
